The Opera tests used to succeed a bit more frequently, but lately they seem never to succeed at all. We need to investigate why before we ship another release.

I've made some progress, but Opera still intermittently stalls for no obvious reason.

It seems OK now.

Nope, it's still happening, but I don't think this is a blocker any more.

This may have something to do with the way we launch Opera using VNC; Opera seems to halt for no apparent reason, and seems to always succeed if I gently wiggle the mouse over Opera's window for the entire test. (Yes, I'm totally serious.)
