For some reason, on some Vista machines (but not others?), you get an "Access Denied" when attempting to use reg.exe to disable automatic proxy caching. I wrapped this in a try/catch block revision 1968, but it's there for a reason: if automatic proxy caching is enabled, -avoidProxy doesn't work.
