Venugopal says:

Apart from the regression tests carried out before the release of each nightly build to ascertain whether any functionality is broken, it is important to carry out the performance related tests too, so that WET users do NOT face performance related issues. With more number of WET users, who run their scripts & use it on live projects, I think it becomes all the more important.

I think that we should have some performance measurements atleast for the core WET layer.

It is good to have some performance benchmarks (atleast manual), before the release of 1.0
